Email automatically hidden

When a Member joins my forum, everyone can see their email. I would like to know how to make it so when a member registers, their email is hidden from everyone but staff automatically, so they don't have to edit their profile themselves. If a players email is publicly shown and they are not told how they can hide it, lots of users will get angry

A plugin wouldn't work best for this because it would be able to be bypassed. But, you can edit your layout template to hide emails.

Go to Admin >> Themes Tab >> Layout Templates >> User Profile >> Summary Tab

Look for and delete this:

<td class="headings">Email:</td>
<td>$[user.email]</td>
</tr>

Very nice, but could you do an edit, that will make that where only staff could see it?
Like maybe an if staff variable?

Just confirming the above edit would work so only staff will see emails.
