Not sure if I like the gradient or if I should keep it more simple.
Any thoughts on the film strip?
That looks much better. I love the contrast, and the subtle additions.
- Personally, I would steer clear of the gradient.. Although it does contribute to the overall aesthetic feel of the image. That's just a personal preference of mine (as I work more with opacity and emphasis). If you decide to keep it, experiment with closer-colored gradients to add more subtle presentation.
- Kami made an excellent suggestion about the reel tape. Keep it.
- Also, before you conclude your design- ask yourself some questions:
+ What am I trying to tell my audience?
+ When they see this logo, will they know what it represents?
Just don't overthink it.
