i was wondering if you could tell me which one of these is a better watermark for my design forum.
(the watermark goes on all designs by staff/employees work small or big depending on image size)

Do you shrink the watermark and stick it in a corner? Do you keep it at a ratio for the image it's going on? If doing either of those, do you keep it at 100% opacity or reduce the opacity for it? Typically, you'd want it at full size to fit the image it's going on, so I'd say use the first one, and reduce the opacity down to a low number, such as 5 or 10 - this would mainly be determined by what the image it's on looks like (the colours etc). You don't want a watermark to stand out too much, otherwise it will take away from seeing/viewing the intended image.

If the watermark is too noticeable people won't want to use the image at all. By the way, HI. I was just thinking last night that I hadn't seen you around much lately. Good to see you.

Been busy being addicted to Xbox unfortunately, and the fact this time of year is too cold to be sat typing at the PC lol.
It's in ratio with the image Then in that case, I would say reduce the opacity. Make it so it's visibly clear to people, but so that it also does not subtract away from the image they are viewing. You want them to be able to read the watermark to know where it's from, and that's it's there so it can't be ripped/stolen, but not too much so that it takes away from the masterpiece it's marking.
