Automatically Locking a Thread

Is it possible to make a Plugin where you can choose what board to lock, but when you do, it automatically locks those threads? Or does it have to be done manually?

Just curious! I think that this would be a cool thing (especially if it could be made where it read certain words and was 'linked' with the censored words -- when something like that happens that a notification goes to an admin)

All threads must be locked manually either from the thread list, within the thread, or the post options dropdown when composing a post. It's not possible for a plugin to lock a thread.
