Hey all! I'm REALLY hoping people can help me out.
My forum is looking to upgrade to forums.net. We're a small roleplaying forum, about 15 players, but each player has multiple accounts. We'd really like to maintain the ability to switch between accounts as easily, and I was told that it's possible a plug-in could be built for this purpose. Can anyone direct me to one already made, or can one be built? Also, for it to work, would we need to already be switched over?
Thanks!

Possibly. I want the posts still tied to each account...if that plug-in would allow one to make their sub-accounts into alters, all grouped over the global, that would work, but I still want to be able to see a list of the threads or posts made by a particular character.

You'd probably need someone who codes and has access to a forums.net site to do it. ( I don't ) But from my thinking cap... I wouldn't have thought it possible to access another members posts etc as it would be a completely different login/username/password.
I could be completely wrong and have been on many occasions!

What do you mean, access another member's posts? I don't need that...I just want a way to upgrade to forums.net and keep account switching. Alters might work okay, but I've never used it, so I'm not sure if one's Alters are connected to one's various linked accounts, or if they're all connected to one single account and you can't sort by posts by that alter. Does that make sense?
I'm more than willing to wait for someone who has access to a forums.net site to do it, but my people keep asking me about upgrading... *chuckles* And I absolutely do not want to until I can verify that account switching works, either by a feature addition or a plug-in.
