Hello!
Is there any way I can find a coder here to help design my website? Maybe even a professional I could commission? I'd like to freshen up my website with a new look! There's only so much I can do though with plugins and what not. I'm not very skilled with coding, so even if I can't find someone, maybe I can describe the type of CSS I'm looking for and someone here can direct me to where theres a code already made for it? I hope that makes sense!
Thanks!

If you're looking for a professional coder, that's going to be expensive. What's your budget? If it's anything less than a couple of hundred at least it's unlikely you'd be able to afford a pro.
That said, if this is for a proboards forum, there are plenty of people here who can assist for free! Just let them know what you're looking for and they can help. Where you should post in depends on what you're looking for, though, so if you could describe what you're seeking that'd be great.

Ooof yeah I'm not looking to spend that much!! Goodness. But alright, so I'm looking for a few things. I'd like to have new IC character forum threads. I have a wolf rpg website and for these threads I'm looking for a snazzy peek-a-boo like thing? I'm not sure how to describe this. But its like a few thin images next to each other and then when you hover over one it enlarges (with text would be awesome). I'm basically just looking for a creative way of showing the location images without having them simply pasted on the thread.
Another thing I'm looking for is a better header/navigation set up. Right now it's very hard to navigate and the top header is a bit of a mess with clicking through tabs. So having something cleaner looking would be great!

Yeah it's a lot, but it's a professional, you know? It's their job, so you've got to pay them what they ought to earn for providing a service, especially since it's one that is complex and time-consuming to learn. (: If you have a very small budget, it'll be hard to find someone good. You get what you pay for and all that. Sometimes you luck out, but usually it's difficult. In-character thread coding you'd probably want to look at posting templates. Adoxography 2.0 has a lot of them, but they require you to be a member to look at their content. ProBoards Support doesn't really have a place where you can request a posting template, so Adoxography or another RP resource site would be the way to go. ^ I'm not really sure what this means? If you could provide a link to the site in question, as there shouldn't be any 'tabs' natively.

No problem!
And okay, how would you like that changed? That is done using either a dynamic table code, or the dynamic table plugin.
It's easy to change, just time consuming, so if you have an example or a more detailed description of "something cleaner looking", it'd be easier for me to help you. (:

Okay (:
For the IC locations, the plugin you're using is the best thing to use. Is there something you don't like about it?
For the header, it's a little different. Do you know exactly what you'd like? The coding for those two sites' tables are different, so the code you want is going to depend on which one you want to mimic.

Maybe it's the images themselves. If they were larger, and if I could have the text show up on the image rather than be a drop down. And probably doutaini, I like the organization. I'd like for it to be similar but obviously be a bit different since I don't want to completely mimic their hard work! C:

Okay the best thing to do for that would be to ask the plugin creator for an edit. The support thread for that plugin is here: support.proboards.com/thread/433694/Doutaini's welcome table is a simple two column table, really. Something like this should do the trick. If you want specific styling, you'll have to let me know (: This is the bare-bones coding you'd need.: <table width="100%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr> <td width="50%">Box 1 Title</td> <td width="50%">Box 2 Title</td> </tr> <tr> <td width="50%">This is box one. Put in your content here.</td> <td width="50%"><div style="width: 100%; overflow-x: scroll;"> This is box two. I put it inside a scrolling div like they did.</div></td> </tr> </table>

Okay! Is there any way I can give the table like title tabs?

This part: <td width="50%">Box 1 Title</td> <td width="50%">Box 2 Title</td> Those will give you the title tabs. If you want specific styling on them you can do this: Change the two lines above to: <td class="tdtitle" width="50%">Box 1 Title</td> <td class="tdtitle" width="50%">Box 2 Title</td> Then in your admin panel, under admin > themes > advanced styles & css > stylesheet, put this at the bottom: .tdtitle { background-color: #ffffff; color: #000000; } Change the bold to whatever colours you want for the background (ffffff) and the text (000000). You can also add other CSS to that before the closing bracket }, such as font style, font size, bolding, etc. (:
