As a recent support topic was created about this I decided to add this to the library (so long as the admins approve). You can move the shoutbox for your forum to its own page. First things first, ensure that the shoutbox is enabled on your forum. Then, go to custom pages and create a blank page. You can name the page whatever you want to name it. Ensure that the forum wrapper is included by checking the correct box at the bottom of the creation page and then create the page. Next, go into your forum wrapper and scroll down the code until you find $[shoutbox]. Copy this snippet and then remove it from the forum wrapper. Save. Now, go to the custom pages and edit the page you created for the shoutbox. At the top of the editor page there are three tabs "Visual Editor, HTML," and "Settings." Select the HTML tab. You will see $[zone1]. Now if you plan to use the page for other things other than the shoutbox you can leave the $[zone1] line alone. If the sole purpose of the page is to display the shoutbox, then remove $[zone1] and replace it with [$shoutbox]. Save your page and you should now be able to go to forumname.proboards.com/page/pagename to see your shoutbox. I have tested this and it works. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know.
