<iframe class="one" width="560" height="315" src="$[plugin.settings.url]" frameborder="2" allowfullscreen></iframe><br>
I used this for a header plugin and it works but it will not work in java script. What can I use for java script? Anybody?

What can I use for java script? Anybody? $[plugin.settings.url] is not a javascript code. It is a filler for headers and footers. Please use the pb.plugin.settings.url equivalent from the variables on the right side of your plugin in the javascript component

I recommend that you remove the "iframe" if you got it to work, as you are not permitted to use them with ProBoards forums the last time I check.... Brian, is this still the case? please confirm.

You can use iframes. You just can't embed ProBoards forums within iframes.

What brian is referring to is www.proboards.com/developer-guidelinesA plugin should not use an iframe to open pages on proboards forums. A popup/new tab should be fine. Is your iframe trying to access proboards forums? There may be a workaround if you are.

As long as the site within your iframe isn't a ProBoards site, then yes.
