Question about Sports Team Logos

Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I was wondering if anyone knows how to edit a sports team logo in order to put someone's name instead of the sports' team? I am making a cooler for my friend and his favorite sports team is the New York Knicks. Here is the logo: click here
now, does anyone know how to change 'New York' to his first name and 'Knicks' to his last name? Any sort of editing app? I am knew to this! Thank you so much!!

Unless you have access to the original program file that created the logo, as well as the original font or a reasonable replica of the font, there's no simple way to edit the text.

The cleanest way would be to recreate the logo entirely in a program like adobe illustrator or photoshop.
