Show/Hide Sub-boards on Main Forum Page

Could someone make a modified forum index page that has the ability to show and hide sub-boards in which the sub-boards would expand directly under each board? Or perhaps a plugin, if that would be more adequate?

I want a 'Show/Hide Sub-boards' button for the forum index page also. I would like it to go in between the navigation tree and participated button. I would like to see all boards and sub-boards expanded on the forum index page in order to see threads, posts, last post for all of them in one place.

I would like the button to change between "Show Sub-boards" for when all sub-boards expand from their respective boards and "Hide Sub-boards" for when the sub-boards collapse and revert back to the normal layout with a list of sub-boards directly under the name of their respective boards.

Great idea! Reduces clutter on your board. I would use it.

I wonder if you could use the drop down nav plugin for this?

Alternatively, the sub-boards could expand and collapse by clicking the category header like the collapsible category plugin does; of course both plugins would not be able to be used at the same time.
