support thread for plugin at: www.proboards.com/library/plugins/item/996this plugin will allow you to convert one or more of your custom profile fields into images that are selectable by the user from a dropdown on their edit profile. you setup all the dropdown options in the plugin settings. each autoform comes with 5 options, but you can expand the selection by filling out the next autoform with the same custom field name. see the instructions about how to enter names. the images have different max height/width settings based on where they appear (dropdown, profile, mini-profile). keep in mind this was written for a standard template, so if you have modified how your profile and mini-profile display custom profile fields, then it might not show correctly.

Hey Wormopolis I absolutely love the idea of this plugin, but for some reason it doesn't work for me. As in, I have it enabled and did the name thing correctly but my member profiles and site act as if the plugin doesn't exist - nothing changed. Can I get some help with this please? Site: zyver.boards.net (it's on maintenance mode so if you need it off, let me know)

Hi Water Crystals , I will venture a guess here given the date this plugin was first posted and also given the changes made by Proboards to the profile pages a few months ago which affected quite a few plugins that this might also be one of those plugins that were adversely affected by that change. Are you able to load your edit profile page then select the personal tab and finally refresh the browser so it loads with that tab properly selected to see if the results expected from the plugin then appear?

Chris , I'm able to load everything as normal but anything related to the plugin just doesn't show up. Even on refresh, it's as if the plugin does not exist - the page reloads with the personal tab still properly selected, yes. Is there any chance of getting this to work? I really hope so, this plugin is awesome and would really help with how I want my member mini-profiles to work.

Water Crystals, you may need to open the forum so we can see what sort of setup you have there. I installed the plugin on a forum (standard profile layout) and followed the steps above to get the plugin to show an image selector on the edit profile (personal tab), so it appears to work.

Chris I don't want to do that unless it's a last resort because I'm still creating the site and I don't want anyone to know it exists. With timezones, I would have to open it for a whole day. Is there something I did wrong or another way to test? For example, if I created a new skin layout and turned off all the other plugins and tried to see if it'll work then? This new site is pretty much a blank slate - I don't have much extra coding, just one small code to make the custom profile field titles bold. I've got some plugins that impact things like the avatar or formatting for the member's name but otherwise the whole site is very basic code-wise. If it worked for you, what did you do exactly? I was rather unsure how to set it all up so it's possible I overlooked a step.

load your edit profile page then select the personal tab and finally refresh the browser so it loads with that tab properly selected to see if the results expected from the plugin then appear? I did exactly as noted above to get the following Details
If it is showing on a standard theme then it is logical to assume something in the theme was changed or there is a misconfiguration elsewhere (provided you are following the steps outlined on July 1st) and that would require access to determine what that is, in any event with no access it is an exercise in futility. Red names don't usually go beyond identifying plugin problems but you might be able to find one willing to help if you cry hardship since they can see beyond the veil of maintenance mode.

Okay, so I did some tests. I disabled all the plugins but this one and created a new theme. None of that helped, but I was wondering about the profile fields themselves so I tried one last thing - I had the fields I wanted this plugin to work on as drop-down as I'd made the custom fields before I even knew this plugin was a thing. Only 2 of them had anything added (the others were drop-down but I hadn't added any details or options). So, I changed all of them to a text field and tried the plugin again and...IT WORKED! After all this, it wasn't the plugin or the theme at all but rather the custom fields themselves. So as long as it's a text field, the plugin will work successfully as it was meant to. What a relief! Thank you so much for your help, Chris ! I actually don't know if I want have thought to try the fields themselves had I not known that not only did it work perfectly for you but also I did all the same things you did so the problem was likely elsewhere. It would be worth noting that the custom fields themselves need to not be a drop-down - I had wondered about that from the start but since it wasn't indicated anywhere on the plugin or here... Anyway, thanks again. Now it works perfectly for me.

I find I have to refresh my page when I go to my Profile for this to show up.
So Profile >> Edit Profile >> Personal >> Refresh page and the CPF images will show in the dropdown.

Does anyone know if there is a plugin like this for the checkboxes so members can pick multiple options?

I find I have to refresh my page when I go to my Profile for this to show up. So Profile >> Edit Profile >> Personal >> Refresh page and the CPF images will show in the dropdown. This issue doesn't just happen when editing, but anywhere they should be visible. I have to refresh threads to get them to show up too, otherwise it's just a bunch of code. They still work, but it'd be great if there was a way to not make refreshing mandatory.
