Bold text on boards

Sorry wasn't really sure where to ask this. I have seen this done on other forums and seen how to do it now on custom pages but not sure how to get the text to come up in bold on my boards. I sure its probly simple but just can't crack this myself so hoping some others may be able to help me out.

Like in posts or board display? Either way you can use the

[b]text[/b] tag
