Help

I want the "welcome" section to show (every user group color and to be linked to every members profile).
I managed to link it but its linked to the home page. i want it to link every user to his or her profile page.

from looking like ....





To looking like this.



is that possible?

Hi behindeyelids

For the first part to link the name to their profile you'd add the blue:

<span>Welcome<a href="http://putteraround5.proboards.com/user"> $[current_user.name]. </a> </span> $[logout_link]
 

I'm not sure about the color of the member groups so will get back to you on that in a bit if I figure it out.    

Of course change the putteraround5.proboards.com to your forum link.

I figured out the other step. Replace this.....

<span>Welcome<a href="http://putteraround5.proboards.com/user"> $[current_user.name]. </a> </span> $[logout_link]

with this......

<span>Welcome<a href="http://putteraround5.proboards.com/user"><span class="small_username" style="color: $[current_user.color];"> $[current_user.name].</span></a></span> $[logout_link]

Sorry, sometimes things don't come to me right away. lol Again, be sure to put your site link in there.
