Hello..
It would be great to be able to add code to a template that would allow the following:
I would like to be able to open any page, within a multi page thread, (without ever having viewed the opening post/topic) and have the original/opening post/topic prefaced as the first post on the page that is opened.
The reason for this is that opening post is usually instructional and having it prefaced on each page in a thread is extremely helpful when there are several pages.
In another forum I belong to It is called: First message topic reminder:
(not sure if that is an assigned label or is part of the code)
It happens automatically in all of the threads in that particular forum.
I am not sure I am explaining this exactly right. But the above is what I was hoping to accomplish.
Thanks for taking the time to look.

Kathy I do know what you mean but I think this might take some jquery to clone that first post and then move it to where you see it no matter what page of the thread you are on. If you still want this, keep bumping or helpers might think you lost interest. I'm attempting to figure it out but I'm so crappy at jquery and javascript, don't hold your breath I'll figure it out.
I am going to move this into template requests so maybe more people will see this and even if you aren't interested anymore, I'd like to see this done. I like the idea.
