Move Navigation Bar to side table or side of board

Is it possible to move the items from the Nav Bar (home, search etc) into a side table

Also the info centre information

Hi, Yorko.

It's possible to move the menu buttons anywhere on the page using the templates. However, if you're using a plugin to add the sidebar you'll need to use Javascript to move the menu into it.

The Forum Information & Statistics is only available on the homepage, so even if you were to move it into the sidebar it would only show on the homepage. It would be missing elsewhere.

I have been getting a bit more confident with the templates but I don't really know what javascript is and what you would actually need to do

I am rearing to have a go though if I knew how to do it

I am using the plug in at the moment but don't need to keep that, how would I go about moving them in the template. ideally I would like them at the side going downwards (sorry not a very techie term)

That'll be completely dependent on what your forum wrapper template looks like. I can't really offer any advice on template modifications without a URL to the forum.

Do you want them on the side of the browser window or do you want them attached to the forum similar to how the Sidebar Redux plugin works?

I'm sorry, Yorko, I had it in my head you were being helped and just didn't come back to check up on you. I know that Brian can do this much better than I can so I'm tagging him because I know if I'm not tagged, I'll forget all about something. If it turns out Brian is too busy, I did get started on this but I don't like the way I'm going about it but will fiddle with it a bit.
