thread restriction in boards

im not sure if this is the right place but im wanting to restrict how many threads my members can create in 2 of my boards.

or an alert for me to tell me when any member has posted more than 5 would be fine.

anyone ?

You could use one of the Post Quarantine plugins. This way the posts have to be approved by you or another moderator, and before the post is shown, you can delete it if that member has posted more than the amount you want.

its a good idea but it wouldnt be if/when the site gets bigger.

iv been through all my options and its either get a plugin which does this, or just keep an eye on peoples threads.

a simple pm alert would work if people post more than 5 threads in 2 of my boards or somethiing like this

if it cant be done then its no problem thanks i'll just mod them.
