Looks like it scrolls across like it's supposed to now. However, now it only seems to scroll through once instead of on a loop.

Hi, silensnoxnocti.

Unfortunately, guests must login on your forum, so I'm not able to take a look. If you've got version 1.1.1 installed, it does loop. Try turning the speed up and you'll see. The longest text line is what determines it's length. So, if you have just 1 long text line, it uses that length (as white space when the other lines are empty) as it's total length to "display". This can result in a large white space before Text Line 1 shows again. If you click on my Codes an Designs link in my sig and just watch the marquee for a minute, you'll see that it does indeed loop. I've got the speed turned up on that, as it's just using 2 Text Lines. I'm still working out how to have it parse out (and basically ignore) empty text lines to cut this extra white space out. It's this white space that has to scroll off before the 1st Text Line shows again. Until I can can this white space to be ignored (and have it show the 1st Text Line after scrolling just actual text off screen), you may want to consider using more than 1 Text Line (if this is the case) if your text line is very long. Simply put, a 60 character Text Line 1 will scroll, but (as white space) Text Lines 2 through 6 (even if empty) will each have a "length" of 60 characters that needs to scroll off before Text Line 1 shows again. I'm going to be gone for a few days, but I'm going to give this my attention when I get back home.

AWESOME, AWESOME plugin!!!!! Love it!

A couple of suggestions...

Put the marquee and links tabs on the same page. so you would have:

Line 1 Settings (Required)
Text Line 1 __________
Text Color 1 ___________
Link Text 1__________
Link URL 1__________

It's too easy going back and forth between pages to put info in the wrong place. Also, it everything is in one block like that, you should then be able to change the order of the blocks, or if the first one has special requirements, at least the order of the blocks after the first one.

Glad you like the plugin! I'm working on some whitespacing issues with it right now, so I'll see about re-arranging the UI as you suggested. As soon as I get the whitespace issue fixed, I'll update here when it's been approved. It'll also have your suggested UI.

Visiting this plugin in the library, I saw 2 reviews that I hadn't seen before. Does anyone know who either of these people are? If so, I can't help them unless they post in this thread. If not, now worries - just thought I'd ask.

I may know one of them 

I noticed while running an old notebook with Vista and IE that the text ran perfectly in a loop one line at a time without a gap between circuits.
On my standard desktop set up with Windows 7 and Chrome I get the 6 lines of text across the screen and then a pause (whitespace) before it starts again. It does the same with Vista and Chrome. I found this odd.

Yeah, that whitespace has been bothering me as well. If it's too much for you right now, you may want to revert to version 1.1.0 - you can select the version while in the library. As it's getting a major overhaul, I'm going to address the whitespace issue at the same time. Unfortunately, I don't have an ETA for when the new version might be ready.

I'm hoping by moving to autoforms, it'll help a lot. Not only will it get rid of the 6 text line limitation, but you'll be able to put everything into the same spot. Here's a sneak peek at the new UI. New fields will appear as you use them:




And, since you can re-arrange autoforms, you'll be able to enter the lines in any order, then re-arrange them to your liking. Simply delete one to remove it. There will always be a blank field to add another one.

I can't get it to scroll correctly like I seen do in your birds at night site.In the pic above there should have been 3 seperate lines but yet they got all merged in one somehow.
