Sorry, Sassy - I didn't get a notification from my bookmark on this thread. Thank you for the compliment! Currently, there is no way to change the link text color without going into the build. If you can wait a couple days, I'll get an option put in there to change the link text color. I'll post here when I upload the update to the library (but it may take a few days after that before it gets approved). My theme colour has changed ... as you will see. But the end marquee ... is in a funky "blue" colour, when the others aren't ... and I have no idea why. If you have time, could you please tell me how to change it to match the other link colours?

I'm not seeing any blue color. As a guest, I only see the default theme, so it is on a different theme? If so, can you make it the default theme? If not, I can register on your forum to take a look - as I'll need to see it live to debug.

It's weird, this morning, it wasn't a different colour ... so I added another marquee ... now the last marquee is a different colour. I logged out of the forum, and I do see the "blue" colour, on the last marquee, as a guest, as well.

Link colors, at this time, are determined by your forum.

Where it says: Entertainment Board .. it's in blue.
the other links are all black.
So why does this one continuously come up blue?
I've tried everything I can think of in the settings and such, and nothing is working.

I've tried everything I can think of in the settings and such, and nothing is working. Okay, I've figured it out. It's taking on the color of your visited link color. It was black for me, but after clicking it, it turned blue. Unfortunately, the marquee does not have a class to target in order to change just the visited link color for the marquee itself. I'm going to be gone most of this next week, but I'll take a look at it next weekend when I may have some time. Right now, the only "fix" would be to make all of your visited links one color - not optimal, imho. Up to you, though. If you want all visited links on your forum to have the same color, add this to the bottom of your stylesheet for the theme to affect: a:visited { color: #000000; }
Change the #000000 to the color you want. To affect all themes, put this in your Global Header instead: <style> a:visited { color: #000000; } </style>
Otherwise, you'll need to wait for me to have some time to see about adding in a class for the marquee. Sorry.

Lynx ... I was wondering how to change the "link" colour in the Marquee. The word "link" and the location are in black and I can't seem to figure out how to change that colour.

Unfortunately, I don't have a class associated with the link text that you can target to change the color. I'll see about adding a class in there so that can be changed.

Thank you very much and thank you for the quick reply. I've updated the plugin and have submitted it to the library. However, since it's the weekend, it's unlikely to be approved before Monday. As such, here's the update: Forum_Marquee_202.pbp (2.4 KB) This version allows you to change the color of the word "Link" (with marquee items using links) as well as the color of the color of the link's text. You can see it in action on my test forum ( codesndesigns.boards.net/ ) - I've only altered the first 2 link colors in the marquee. It seems I was working on doing just that - as I had the options added in, I just hadn't updated the code for it. Let me know how it works.

So when it's approved I'll be able to update my "forum marquee" from the Plug-in, in my forum?
