My button code will not work

I have a paypal button code that will not work. when I enter it in thread I create, it just shows up as the code and not the functional paypal button. I never had any issues doing this on my old forum accnt. Why is this one different.. can you please help or even install it for me. its under the donation thread I want it in.

If you are trying to enter HTML in a thread, that will not work. HTML does not work in threads, only BBCode.
