Important thing: I'm not sure if this is in the right area? I don't want to cause any clutter so please, if it needs moving, do so. I hope/think this is right though, since it's kinda the whole theme I'll looking for help with. XD
This is my site (which is almost complete, but the skin needs to be solid first): >Our Scars Are Our Stories<
The theme I'm using, "Blue Inked Parchment" is a beautiful theme. However for my site, I'm looking for a darker scheme, and I need to somehow place a chatbox, the hover-banner codings need to be fixed and I need to either have someone who can do it for me or can give me the specific coding and tell me how to do them for OTM changes - all of that. To be frank, I was talking to one of my friends and I said: "Yeah. I may ask someone on there to do it for me 'cause I'm going to say "frankly I suck, please help me out" to anyone who answers XD", because as of right now I'm horribly lacking in knowledge and progression with anything but content. I would like to learn, but for the moment I'm looking for someone who is willing to do the first round for me so I may get the site off it's feet. I have the banner image and basic colors I think will fit well, but I'm not quite sure, so if anyone is willing to give me and my site a push I would be so very grateful. If you need more information, just ask. ^ - ^

It sounds like you need design assistance which is located here....
support.proboards.com/thread/434626/design-assistance-read-rules
...but there is a format for posting there that you must follow, otherwise I'd move your thread. If you go the route of having someone help you, I'd create a new forum and let them work on your theme there and then you can transfer it to your real forum. You just don't want to trust just anyone to have the powers to totally wreck your site, if they are rotten like that, which most members here are not, but just don't take the chance.
As far as the OTM changes and all the changes to the table are going to be in your forum wrapper template, I believe, and the image sizes you need are marked on the "placeholder image". I realize it is scary when you first start out but you can always make that test forum to fiddle with it and move it to your forum when you have it perfect or you can create a new theme and set it so no one can actually use it and work on making the changes there.
I will be more than happy to talk you through anything if you need help but I make it a rule not to join a site to help, as do most mods.

I hadn't thought of that... A test thread probably is a better idea than just asking anyone, much safer.
I know the image sizes, yes, but what I meant is I don't know how to get to the coding to put the url for a new picture. This is where my lacking knowledge calls for help, heh. I'll make a test forum, but I do still think I'll need a lot of help; can this thread be moved or should I make a new one after I create the test forum asking for help?
I'm sorry if I re-asked any questions, I'm really terrible with this all, and I get very nervous. =P

I'm sorry if I re-asked any questions, I'm really terrible with this all, and I get very nervous. =P Before I forget, would you mind using the standard size font when posting. Not all of us have perfect vision and that is tiny. Thanks.
Once you get your images the size you want you can go to your themes manager and hover over the theme you want and you'll see a image button show up. Click on it and you'll be taken to your image page. Scroll to the bottom and you can upload your images from your computer. Once you get them uploaded you can copy the url by just clicking on the link button. Then once in the Wrapper template find where they have the image placeholder (blue below) and paste it there:
<div class="otm1" style='margin-right: 5px; background-image: url("placehold.it/48x100");'>
In the updates area where they have those little images, you find this and add your url where it is blue:
<img src="placehold.it/70x70">
Hope that helps.

Yeah, sorry. I try to save space by using smaller text. =P
I appreciate your explanation, but I truly meant it when I said I have no skills of any sort. I, frankly, don't comprehend a word of what you just told me to do. XD
Thanks for trying to help, but some people (like me, haha) just can't do coding. So, in this case, should I make a new thread(where?) asking for someone to help me create a skin on the test forum and then just transfer it when it's finished?

If you want to go make a thread in the link I gave you that is up to you but I would suggest you learn how to do this if not now, soon as it is hard to be an admin of a forum unless you are willing to get in there and fix things, do things.
Have you even tried uploading a image to your theme or even looked in the Wrapper Template to see if you can see what I'm talking about?
Upload Images: Admin > Themes> Theme Manager> and hover over the theme and you'll see a image button, click on it and up comes all the images used on that theme.
Wrapper Template: Admin > Themes> Layout Templates>Wrapper Template
One thing about ProBoards, you can't mess up anything that can't be fixed.

Don't get me wrong; I have tried, and while sometimes things work in my favor, I find I can never re-create my once-in-a-blue-moon success and be happy. There's always some flaw I can't seem to locate. Yeah, it would/might be tough to have to have someone there for me for coding alone. That's why I made this thread asking for initial help, and then lessons before I'd need to change the coded parts. I'm really just terrible at comprehending the coding proboards uses, nor any site for that matter. I'm trying to learn, I seriously am trying, just failing. But, it's also hard to be the only admin on a site, so I also want to find someone who likes the site and would want to help it, hopefully someone that can teach me about the coding as we go along. I don't think being an admin is all about doing everything yourself; just because I made the site, clearly it doesn't mean I know how to make it pretty. XD I only maintain and take part in what it's there for, to roleplay and enjoy chatting. The coding is really just a side-task, but all these fancy sites from wonderfully talented people make "basic" sites seem boring, and they are thus over-looked. Really I don't care if I have a plain "looking" site, but I've learned that if the layout is too simple it will appear as if everything is bland alongside it.

Really I don't care if I have a plain "looking" site, but I've learned that if the layout is too simple it will appear as if everything is bland alongside it. You are right, with Proboards V5 you really don't need to be a coding wiz kid with all the premades but when you have OTM's of the month, someone will need to be changing that once a month. But don't feel bad about failing and not being satisfied with some little thing you did. We have all been there at one time. I've screwed up so many things when I was learning it isn't even funny.
However you want to do it, it is your choice. I was hoping you would at least tried to look in those areas I mentioned, maybe try at least uploading a image but I also don't want to make you feel bad either for being hesitant. That might be the best way to post in design assistance board and hope there is someone willing to teach you along the way and get your table filled out the way you want it.
I just don't think I'll be of any help if you are hesitant to go try to find the lines of code I posted. I suppose if you gave me the images you want to use I could toss that theme on a test site and get it set up for you and then give you the template.
