where do i find this text in the visual css so i can make it bigger please ?

iv done it before but forgot the name, its in the post edit box        this text<<<<<<<

ignore a white opaque strip, no idea why its there.

it hasnt worked   i went admin> advan> visu> forms >text area> text    it didnt work ??

Hmmm, worked for me but I tried changing it back and couldn't there so went back to: Editors>Preview Editor>Text and set it there. Maybe I'm losing my mind as changing it there the first time didn't work or so I thought so went to the text areas.

haha, so have you changed it for me then ?

No understanding ^^^but I tested this on my test site so try Editors>Preview>Text and see if that does it for you, if you haven't tried it yet.

Nope, I don't have the powers to do that. Only Admin do.

ok iv done it  and its changed the text in the actual edit box while you type .... which is what i want.


then when you press 'create post' the post goes on the thread with small text .... who do i change the post text ?

iv tryed 'defualt forum text' but its made all other text bigger. so it didnt work.

Have tried to adjust the { .posts .post .post-method { font-size: .8em; } in the same "Advanced Styles & CSS"

But instead of doing it in the Visual Editor use the "Style Sheet" tab and scroll down til you find the HTML line for

 /* Posts */

and then scrool down til you find the line that contains 

{ .posts .post .post-method { font-size: .8em; }

If you were to change the output { font-size: .8em; } to a Bigger Font size the Words will appear bigger.

Not sure if I am 100% correct but it seems if you change the Font size in the HTML from the HTML side then it would show up as a Bigger Font.

non of this has worked for some reason, and changing the .8em didnt do anything at all ? 

iv done this on another forum i have within a minute of someone showing me but i cant remember how i did it and who showed me.

Sometimes it pays to go through your old posts in case you asked it here. Once a person modifies so many things, adds a gazillion plug-ins it is hard to pin point where the problem is. But since what ardodd suggested doesn't work for you (thanks Ardodd), just try pasting this at the bottom of your style sheet. (Adjust the 14px)

/*change post text size*/

.message{font-size:14px;
}
