So great to see this plugin finally! I'll have to try my hand at it, soon and see if there's any good way to work it into my board in the near future. EDIT: Brian I don't suppose it's possible for us to make use of this plugin on the Support Board the way that you have, as well, is it? Just a staff perk? The custom field dropdowns used by the plugin are set to staff-only here. Only three regular users have custom mini-profiles here as they won a mini-profile design contest that let them keep them as a reward. So I suppose there's no possibility of getting a Mini-Profile like Kami's..?

Not without designing your own in a contest.
If you have any further questions please PM them to me. This thread is for support with the plugin rather than discussion about the forums it's used on.

I installed the plug in. Did everything instructed, but the examples are not showing up when I go to edit my profile, the drop down menus do show up though, but when I select one and view it through a previous post. all that is showing up is a caution icon, when I click the caution icon it takes me to , admin>members>custom fields . testest1212.boards.net/thread/2/welcome-occult-knowledge

You typed them all lowercase, which caused the plugin not to recognize it and produce that icon (which will show an error message when you hover over it). The examples in the plugin are capitalized, so you'll need to update your custom fields to match them.

I went ahead and updated the plugin to 1.1.1 with a few changes I made a long time ago for the copy on ProBoards Support that I use for the visual effects of the Helpful Members group, along with including one change I made today due to something that occurred to me in another thread. The changes are as follows: - Creating a mini-profile named Default will allow you to automatically change the mini-profile of every user on the forum. This also works in conjunction with any mini-profiles already in use by your users, so you can do something like assigning Example 1 to a user, then having the CSS and Javascript of Default run on top of that.
- Custom mini-profiles are now added before the HTML of the mini-profile they're replacing instead of after. What this will hopefully do is cause other plugins to target the custom mini-profile instead of the original mini-profile if they don't already as some plugins will only target the first mini-profile they find in a post.
- Expansion plugins can now be added in the event you run out of space in the plugin settings from adding so much HTML, CSS, and JS (which is very much possible because Ulises ended up doing that here on Support).
I'll be editing the first post of this thread shortly to document the process of adding a Default mini-profile and creating extra expansions from the plugin I attach to the post.

Brian : I attempted to go to the Plugin Library (which has v1.1.1) to install it that way, but when I go back to my Plugin Management area, it still shows the plugin version as being 1.0.0. I have attempted five times so far going to the Library and installing it. Must we download it from the OP in this thread for it to work correctly? My bad, my forum is here. Sorry, created the post too soon! Thanks so much for your help!

The only instance in which the old version of a plugin is replaced is when the plugin uses a key. Since this one doesn't use plugin keys it only asks you to inherit the settings of the previous version you had installed. As evidence of that you have two copies of 1.1.1 at the end of your list in Plugins > Manage while 1.0.0 is still installed near the beginning of your list.

I didn't think to look at the bottom of the list. Am I able to delete 1.0.0 without losing everything, yet gaining the ability for the Default plugin? (Just want to ask before I delete it, as I don't want to lose the MP's that I have created for my members.)

If you chose to import the settings when installing 1.1.1 you should be able to delete 1.0.0 without losing anything. Based on the settings showing in 1.1.1 it looks like you've imported them, so you're free to delete the older version.

Example three does not show an avatar picture? Is there a way I can make this happen and how? I would love for it to show the avatar picture over top the background circuit picture then go opaque when the two sides fold in. Example one I would like to change the colour code from black text to a different colour. Underneath the avatar, when checking the codes they only had three numbers instead of the usual six number colour codes. How can I change the text to a different colour? Also if a moderator or another rank uses this template will the administrator text in the top right hand corner be change the rank they are on the profile?

I would love for it to show the avatar picture over top the background circuit picture then go opaque when the two sides fold in. It will utilize the avatar you have selected in your profile if its dimensions meet or exceed those of the mini-profile itself. Uploading an avatar directly to the forum won't work since the forum resizes the image itself to fit within a 150x150 boundary, so you've got to link one externally to make that work.
