I'll update it eventually, but since this one falls under the fun cosmetic umbrella it's lower priority than others. Like I don't think anyone absolutely needs this plugin to keep their forum running the same as it has been when using v6, so I'm not in a hurry to update it compared to something like the NPC Profiles plugin which some forums might lean heavily on.

The forum I'm building is for roleplaying, and this plugin is one the things I'm actually waiting to continue working on it because I know people will love the ability to customize their whole character mini-profiles (me included, hehe) since that was a big thing for us in the v5 forum

The standard customization is perfectly fine for forums in general tho and our case is very specific, so I can understand this taking a good while! I don't mind waiting tho, but for sure I'll be one of the first ones to jump on it when it comes out!

This likely means that you did not complete the setup of the plugin. When you first install the plugin it would normally show a window at the top of the forum that would include instructions on what to add to your theme to get everything working but it looks like something changed that I wasn't aware of when handling dropdowns in the plugin settings so it's never showing that initial window.

However, you should be able to open that same window by clicking on the symbol that shows in the mini-profile.
