I was wondering if it was possible to register a smartphone to a Proboard to get push notifications whenever you receive a PM or a thread you're following gets a reply or if there was any kind of app already made that is supported by Proboards that provides this feature? If anyone could inform me about this it would be a big help!

The tapatalk app supports "Unlimited push notifications" in its free version and is the recommended app since Proboards has discontinued development on their own in-house app.

so tapatalk works with proboards then? It does indeed. Hi, Did it look similar to this? dev.prbrds.com/b/o/t5oCZ9CfKQ.pngThere's a small window that appears at the top of the mobile version of the forum that tells users they can follow the forum via Tapatalk, then two buttons: one that opens the forum in Tapatalk and another that takes you to the store page to install Tapatalk. Apart from that the mobile version of the forum operates exactly the same as the desktop version, only it's stripped down to mostly just the bare essentials. But the login process is exactly the same. |

Okay, so I have the tapatalk app on my phone now and I have the forum opened on it, but when I try to Log In using my existing Forum account it just pulls up a connecting to server message and sits like that forever. Is there something wrong with it or do I still need a tapatalk account even to sign in to the forum with an existing profile?
EDIT: nvm, my phone just had a system update it needed. Thank you for all the help!
