Shorten Boards + Menu Bar Issue

Is there a way to condense my boards and categories back to their default? Also, my menu bar appears to have a nonexistent background?
Edit: Fixed the nonexistent menu bar background but now there is a gap between it and the edge of the forum? I still really want to make the boards/categories shorter; I don't want them to fill the entire page, like how the default had spaces between the boards/categories and the edges of the site.
Edit: Fixed, I had to reset some things.
