Creating Oval/Ellipse Posts?

I am requesting help.
Please move my post if it is located on the wrong board.

I have no knowledge about this coding topic.
Is it possible to create custom oval posts?
I understand that it would mean changing the box model table's design.

@womenonly,

I'm trying to think how that would work if someone posted a very long post. Keeping oval shape depends on a specific height and width and once the height is pushed the oval would be distorted. You only have so much width in a post. And then you run into the problem of the line of text being narrower at the top and getting wider. Text typed stays pretty much in a square shape.

You could do some other shapes like this one where height wouldn't matter.


 

I just don't think an oval will work in posts unless no one could ever write a long post.

If only I could locate that proboards forum.
Its home page showed boards with that oval shape.
The oval shape was not huge. It fit into the board.

I think I will consider this resolved.

So it is the boards you want oval and not the posts? That's totally different.  I have round boards on one test site so you could easily have ovals. Let me know if you really mean boards or posts because your first post in this thread said "posts".

I was just now trying to find the test site I have the round boards so I can tweak them to be ovals but I haven't found it yet and I have a feeling it is buried and a non-default theme so I need to keep digging for it. But meanwhile, do you want everything that is normally in a board to be within the oval or do you want it more customized with certain things in a board just in the oval?

Do you want two oval boards side by side or one big board that is the width of the forum that is oval?

The more I know upfront the better so I don't have to redo the whole thing if something didn't get mentioned. Better yet, if you have a paint program you could do a rough mock up of how you'd like it.

I think we both aren't understanding. lol

I can make every board an oval or I can add an oval to a certain area in the board like in your link. As far as posts, we talked about that before. If posts are oval they won't be if you make a long post so having an oval post is not possible unless all posts are a certain length. I could make parts of the post to have an oval, like an oval around the "Quote", "Edit, "Thumbsup" area or even maybe the whole title and the action bar area.

I just don't know where to start because I'm still not sure what you want. When you say on every category-board, I don't know what that means. An oval just around the description of the board like the link you posted or something else.

I still wish you could just draw me a rough example. Is that possible you could make a real rough draft of what you want in paint or any graphics program you might have?

I was never requesting all oval or circular.
It would not work. Secondly, it would look ridiculous.

I do not know if it is called inner or outer.->Category's board description.
A discreet and tasteful oval design that would not require tons of your time.
