Copyright message in Footer

Hello:

How would I be able to put a Copyright statement in my footer in a different color, have it bold, and centered?

I tried typing this directly into the Global Footer, but it didn't work for bolding, centering, different font color and the like.

I want to be able to do this, because I had an unpleasant incident recently where my forum's content was directly copied, word for word and used by another on a different forum.
