P̌̓aͧś̀t̀u͒le͆o͂2̀3̃̓ - I'm not really sure what you mean by "wanting more cowbell". Only thing I can think of it meaning is more features, but this wasn't intended to to a lot in the first place. So, what sort of "cowbells" did you have in mind? Boy_Wonder - Would I be correct in guessing that that's what you were looking for with your request? Also, I'm going through the code now and have found some stray <b> in there that I'm cleaning up now - so it may not be something on your end to find. When done, the only bold hard-coded would be the date but only on Date Placement = Content. Nothing else should be bold after this. Apologies for that - I thought I had them all. Skidjit - The date's still not showing and I've updated my support thread on it. I'm going to see what I can find out from my end. That should be a good indicator, though, when you see the date come back. Yes!! My side bar classes are different to my main classes!

Boy_Wonder SkidjitI've replaced the download link in the OP. The version number didn't change (it hadn't been submitted to the library yet, so just did the fixes on that version), but it should take care of the stray <b> that were around for you, Boy_Wonder and should take care of the date not displaying, Skidjit. Sorry, P̌̓aͧś̀t̀u͒le͆o͂2̀3̃̓ - no new cowbells yet. Please let me know if any issue was not resolved or if any new issues arise. Thanks! EDIT: By the way, Boy_Wonder - nice job on the styling on your forum. Looks like it fits right in.

Oh, man! You know how long it's been since I've seen any SNL skit? Let me put it this way - it's been so long, I barely remembered what SNL stood for. LOL EDIT: Skidjit - did you notice there was a page 4 here with an updated 1.0.2?

LOL EDIT: Skidjit - did you notice there was a page 4 here with an updated 1.0.2? Yeah, I did. I'm guessing that's the place where I would need to put codes or something to make it more custom to my site.
(Been on my feet all day for work. I need to get my brain back into mode to work on my site some more.)
There's a lot I have to learn. I'm not sure what "class" means, but I am sure I will figure it out soon.
Edited: NOT codes. Really, I thought those were to go on some other page where codes go. still, not sure what a class is though, so I don't want to mess with it just yet.

No worries, Skidjit. You can, however, delete the one you currently have installed and install the new one from the OP (version number is same, but the one in the OP is a fixed version). It'll run without you having to touch the Advanced tab. You can just use the Dates and Settings tabs and just wait until you're comfortable with CSS before playing on the Advanced tab. EDIT: By the way, I like some of the "events" you put in. Boy_Wonder did a very nice job styling his (link in his sig). Speaking of which, Boy_Wonder - did that bold issue get fixed, or is it still there?

Lynx I saw that note about redoing the plugin. I just did. I already have a member of mine ready to fill in the next couple of weeks with info. This is going to be such fun. Wait... you can see the ones I've already filled in? EEK. I got the sillies and so filled it in with stuff that popped into my head. LOL! OH and the date shows now. All is working well. Thanks so much for all of your work. I can't wait to see what my members say. They are going to be thrilled. My friend is already ready for the fun.

Skidjit - I just saw that you've got the fixed version in. Glad it's working for you! Yeah, I could see what you had lined up for "events". Awesome that the date is showing. If you do come across any issues, please let me know.

Yeah - kind of shows when I'm looking at your settings, since they are a part of your settings. Also, I was playing around in Inspect Element and had tried this. It gets rid of that border and makes the spacing closer to what you have between boards. If you don't want to try this, Skidjit, no worries - just thought I'd bring to your attention. If you do want to try this, just copy the code below and paste it at the bottom of your theme's stylesheet: .msg-otd { border: none; margin-bottom: 1px; }
That will remove the border and close the gap.

YES! Thank you so much. That was the first thing I was going to look into figuring out.
I have so many questions when it comes to codes and how they work. I've found a place that explains to me how to recognize what code does what on our proboard sites. I'm planning on trying to get this in my head more this weekend.
If you would please tell me one thing, if I'm poking about in a stylesheet or the layout template area... I'm not going to see any codes for any of the plugins I have running on my sites am I? The last thing I want to do is mess things up when I have them just right.

No. When looking at running codes, I do it through Firebug. Unless you have actually added JavaScript in any of your templates (it'll be between <script></script> tags), you won't see the JavaScript (JS). You won't see JS in your stylesheet. If you do, there's something wrong. At any rate, to help alleviate (hopefully) some of your fears - if you are simply going to the bottom of your stylesheet to add CSS in, unless you're overwriting other classes (which what I gave you won't - other than the default in my plugin and only my plugin ... which is what we want to do here), you're not going to mess anything up. If concerned, you can always ask the person who gave you the code what it will affect. In our case here, all it will do is remove the border and close the gap on just the OTD plugin container. I hope that helps. EDIT: Just to clarify - code from a plugin won't show in your templates. Only manually entered codes should show there. At least, I haven't seen any plugin's JS show in any template.

Cool. whew. From what I'm understanding so far, everything on the style sheet is basically the code for the stuff clicked/or set on the visual editor. This is just me guessing.
Anyway. I did put the code you left me at the bottom of the theme stylesheet. I don't think it worked. Here's what I see. A teeny little line. I think that is where your code did work to get it closer. Not sure.

Skidjit, Okay. The code I gave you does work, but perhaps we need to add the !important flag to force the new settings. With that said, copy the code below and replace what I gave you earlier. You don't want both of them, just the one I'm giving you below: .msg-otd { border: none !important; margin-bottom: 1px !important; }
That little line is the border. Replace the previous code I gave you with the one above and it should disappear. Let me know how it works out. EDIT: I just looked and it is still using the default CSS. The above code should fix that.
