Hey, Skidjit?

If you want it to affect all themes, put this in your Global Footer (Admin > Structure > Headers & Footers > Global Footer):

That will make it effective on all themes.

AHhhhh! I wish I peeked in here and caught that. LOL. This last bit of code will come in very helpful. Some people I've heard have about 40 themes going into v6.

I might be wrong, but I figure we might have to reinstall each plugin when the change comes. I'm saving this for certain. Thanks.

and I just peeked in on your test forum. Love that idea. When that guy earlier placed your plugin inside the sidebar redux, I liked how he had an image to go along with it. I'm on board with the next version. Please tag me if I don't see you have it ready... if you decide to.

Once I know it's bug-free, it'll probably be the last update until V6. I don't want it to get too extensive without knowing how much I might have to change to make it compatible with V6.

Oh, and I also noticed you're still in "testing" mode with your events? (They still have something to the effect of 'this is a test' on them.)

Of course, I think you should put the one for 3/3 on 2/29 instead.

LOL! Hey. I was on a roll there with that one.

I just decided to call it a night too. My friend, who will be gathering the info to place in the days events, will get back to me soon with that list. I only have the one theme enabled where this plugin can be seen so far. I'm the only one using that theme. It's there for her to peek at too, when she needs to. I left it up there for my friend to get the idea of what it looks like and where it will be. We are going to do some test runs when it comes to the length of each days info. Once she gets that list to me, I'll open it up for all themes.

I look forward to any updates. I don't blame you for waiting until v6 kicks in. Sounds like a good plan.

I think you need an encryption option so admins can write in binary and special text to display when its 11:11 to make a wish. And an option for fade in, fade out, 360 counter clockwise rotation and an option to hyperlink the text to open a new tab with more information on the event. And it has to slowly type out like in old rpg style. And it has to have a hide button for individual alerts, and a turn off and on button for the whole thing.

LOL! Maybe next version ... not.

The part about it slowly typing out like old RPG style made me laugh.

To be serious though, the only other option I can think of adding, if people want it, would be able to designate an event to be shown for Staff only. It would display with any other events for the date, but be noted as a Staff Event. Non-Staff would see all non-Staff events. Just an idea I'm tossing around. Ways to slowly expand on my skills.

As it's written, no. But, you can style it within another container. Find any of Boy_Wonder's posts in this thread and click on the image in his sig to see how he's styled it to fit (I believe) in a Sidebar Redux container.

That is working very nicely. I have one other question: I'm working with the CSS and it seems that no matter what I do, I cannot get rid of a large amount of space around the content section. I've set the padding, margin, border, all to 0px and there is still a lot of space there. Any suggestions?
