My test board: whimsicaldragon.proboards.com/My problem: Seems that some links accidentally disappeared and I don't know how to get it back. (ToS link, Privacy Policy, Hosted by Proboards, etc.) All that text that should be at the bottom of my page has disappeared. I know it's probably something simply I've overlooked, it's just puzzling me and I can't figure out why it's happening, or how to bring it back. I would like it to come up before I transfer the code to the active site. I taught myself what I know about coding, so if there's an error or something looks funny I do apologize. Let me know if there's a better way and I'd be happy to adjust! (It would be an additional prize to be able to center the bottom ad with the rest of the page, but I won't get greedy.)

All I can view on your forum is the portal page which is basically your shout box but anyway, what adds the ProBoards links is this: $[footer]It is located in your wrapper template toward the bottom so if you don't see it, add it.

Thanks Tumbleweed! I was intending only a splash page until the timer runs out and the forum opens. Your mention of looking at the $footer made me look under the layout templates again, and sure enough I found the source of the issue: I had the $footer above the </body> tag and I didn't realize it got there, much less how. Now I feel like a derp for not seeing such a simple thing sooner. Oh well. Sometimes my head gets in a muck and I need someone else to help pull me out of it! Thank you for pointing me in the right direction! =] I'll mark this thread as resolved. Kind regards!

I had a feeling it was in there because if I remember right, you get an error when you remove that but I could be wrong. Anyway, don't feel like a derp. We all have days like that. Glad you found the problem.

I know this is resolved but in case anyone is viewing this thread later with the same issue, I want to offer a final confirming fact:
Yes, if I moved it certain places it gave me an error. I just wanted to pop in and confirm your memory. (Apparently over the </body> tag didn't give me an error before (still don't understand how I did that).)
Cheers! =]
