This thread is for support with the theme.

There is no plugin to accomplish what you are doing, no. You would have to code it (or have someone code it) into the CSS and layout templates of your forum.

If you're interested in that, I recommend posting in the Template Request Board instead of this theme support thread.

I’m a huge fan of this theme, but I want to edit some parts of it according to my preferences. The creator of this theme doesn’t seem to be active at the moment, so what’s the best and most ethical way to go about crediting them? Do I just keep all their stuff in and add to it?

Translation:

Don't alter this theme and present it as your own work that others can download and install on their forums.

It's okay to change colors and images etc (in fact elli probably has made much of that easy to accomplish within the Visual Editor), but you only use the edited version on your own forum.

Regarding the C-box, you might have some issues there. I doubt their would be any objection to deleting the C-box itself, but then the left sidebar serves very little purpose unless you add something else to take its place.

And you definitely can't just remove the left sidebar entirely. The author's copyright info is located at the bottom of the sidebar.

@chm30 Hello, I'm around, just busy. Retread is correct. You're welcome to make any changes you like as long as you don't: 1) claim the resulting theme as 100% your own (since the base is still Wild Skin); 2) export the resulting theme and make it available to others to download; 3) remove my copyright text. If you don't want the sidebar, it's ok to move the copyright to the global footer. You can see an example of that on this site.

This is the final release of this theme as version 6 of ProBoards approaches. Readme guide was removed because too much has changed and I didn't feel like updating it. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

hiko That's in the Home template. Admin > Themes > Layout Templates > Home, starting around line 82. Just remove everything in between these HTML comments:

Hi! I was wondering if there is a guide for the custom profile fields we need to add for this skin? I've been picking through the code to see if I can't find any, but I'm either possibly blind, or I can't find the info. Thanks in advance!
