I don't know if this will help much, but in the Theme Library(couldn't find it on the support forum) there is a theme called Spectrum that has a user tab with it's avatar and a drop-down menu on hover, you may want to check that out.

You shouldn't be posting someones theme without their permission. And it is actually in the library where he can just download it to his site directly from his Admin. panel but often you can't just pick and choose what you want to use from the theme. Need to read the rules the designer of the theme says can be changed. I think this is the one mentioned. www.proboards.com/library/themes/item/1210

pjjw, If you don't want to use the spectrum theme, I can probably do something for you. Is this to replace the regular menu or are you talking about something else totally?

Looking at the image it appears to be more of a posting menu or something. If you can clarify what exactly you want your menu to do, I can tell you for sure if I can do it.

Well id like it to be similar to the one i linked with a clickable avatar to link to your profile! and then a drop down from your name to the options ect

That link helped. Not sure I can do this but I'm going to see what I can come up with. Can you list exactly all the things you want in the drop down part. Also what does the create, and then the three icons do?

the create can be disgarded i dont need that, but the circle is your avatar which links to your profile then the drop down on the name has as on the link without MODCP for regular users then the world is notifications brings up a list, the box type thing is for PM's to list and link to them with the brush being the theme chooser for individual users!

If ive missed anything let me know

Thanks, I might have more questions and I'm not sure I know how to do all that but I'll only know if I try so if anyone else wants to jump in that knows they can do it, feel free. And if you are waiting on me, please be patient as finding free time to do this is difficult (life away from the computer has been super busy), which is why I'll be perfectly ok with someone else taking this on.
