I'm thinking about developing a Thread Watch plugin, but I'm unfamiliar with the features and limitations of the ProBoards API. It seems to have some of what I need, but may also be missing some things I may be expecting, but a more seasoned user would know is not there.
Anyway, here's what I'm aiming for:
1. A user posts or replies to a thread and is automatically subscribed to email notifications about that thread if anyone else replies. 2. A user can click a button in the thread to manually subscribe to email notifications.
Possible? Impossible?
Thanks for whatever info you can provide! DR0D4

This already exists through the Bookmark feature, found by clicking on the Actions toolbar at the top of a thread.
You can configure whether or not to receive email notifications for bookmarks in Profile > Edit Profile > Notifications.
