Ok so I downloaded a second date and time clock II and installed it. It came back. But when I tried to uninstall the older one after importing my settings...regardless that the new one was running and the old one not...when i deleted just the older of the two plug in, it disappeared from my screen again. So i now have two date and time clock II plug ins running...
I really need somebody's help....

Assassin #1, I'm looking at your forum and the title bar text looks centered to me. (checked in IE and FF) I couldn't view sub-board titles as that isn't open to guests. Did you get that fixed? Afraid I can't help you with the date/time plugin as I never used it. You may want to post in the thread of the coder who did that plugin although when I do a search for "Date and time clock II" plugin, I can't find it listed in our plugin library index.

On the home page things are centered but lets say go to mods and performance in the second section down after the "general board". I'm stuck at left position or maybe 20px shy of true center. I've been battling this all night!!!

I've been battling this all night!!! I went to the "mods and performance" board and I'm trying to see what is off by 20px. The title, "mods and performance" is aligned totally left because "create thread" is aligned on the right. So I'm still at a loss what is off. Can you name a couple of actual titles that have this issue because I must be missing something here.

you got it tumbleweed....I cannot get the board titlebar text centered.....this is what I seek help for. Awww, o.k. so when you do center it you want it center in the middle of the full board/title bar width rather than centered between the left side and the right edge of the create thread. I'm assuming those are the 20px (actually 30px) is the width of the create thread. So give me a bit and I'll try to see if we can somehow ignore that "create thread" is even there or compensate for it. Give me a bit. If the above is exactly what you are talking about, then you'll need to do a minor little template addition and then add some css too. So go to Admin > Themes> Layout Templates>Board and then staying on the "Board" tab add this div around the board display name as I did in blue (should be around line 15) <div><h1>$[board.display_name]</h1> </div>
And then at the bottom of your style sheet add this:
.container.threads .title-bar div{ float: left; position: relative; left: 50%; text-align: left; } .container.threads .title-bar h1{ position: relative; right: 50%; } I did a rough measure on both a short title and long title and they seem to be centered in the middle of the whole width of the title bar. Let me know if that works for you.

Tumbleweed...thank you so very much. For your patience and immediate attention dealing with this. BUT, what I had done and accomplished in the interim was.... I finally got brian's sidebar redux and todge's updated recent threads squared away and dialed in. Once that had happened, due to the offsetting of sidebarr-right which was my full and only intention for the use of brian and todge's plugins...having the titles now at left only seemed to be the correct position, as well as natural. It balances and maintains the flow. I hope you take a look and I am sure you will agree. As you are a designer with code knowledge in which I am envious of, I thrive in the visual flavor of conception and development as well. Just like you do... but I am missing the other 50% that you have. Picture Picasso with no arms. That was me yesterday when I came begging for help. LOL
You've helped me before and I thank you once again a million times over. I, originally from NYC and you from CT, must be an east coast thing on a higher interpretation of how one expresses one self. You know us true New Yorker's, sometimes a bit harsh with thought but always directly to the point.
Tumbleweed, my east coast neighbor, thank you again for your help.
Much love,
