What program are you using? This is very cool.
"This morning" definitely has much more detail, which I enjoy. The perspective is also much easier to read in this one. I can see what you mean about the houses, it appears that they fall off the grid at some points, I think the trid is there to keep the angles aligned the same. So, the "walls" of the house have to match the grid lines? I think?

Photoshop?! Crazy... I have never tried to do isometric stuff in photoshop, are you using the 3D tools at all?
