Would like Banner altered

Hi, I would like to look at changing the Banner on our Forum www.kapitiulysses.proboards.com The name needs to be changed to read "Kapiti Coast Branch Ulysses NZ". We are a Motorcycle group forum and we do have our own Logo. Wondering if anyone has some ideas of Kapiti Branch Logo.pdf (23.49 KB)incorporating the Logo.

Hi Scorch, I have disabled our Guests log in, on the Forum so you should be able to go into it by clicking on www.kapitiulysses.proboards.com

Hey rustys ,

So I've come up with a couple of options - each banner is 1300px wide by 150px high so when you add the image to your site you might want to change the width and height to match so it comes up fully. I really liked the simpleness of your site so I used that colour combo plus the logo colours.

If you don't like any or like bits of some and want to combine I'm more than happy to do that (:

All of these images are hosted on imgur, so you'll want to save them to your own computer and then re-upload them to a site like photobucket or tinypic.

Hi Scorch, That's perfect I really like image 3 with the Bikes as a background, just what we want nice and simple. Now how do I go about loading it onto our Board, as i'am not that computer tech. I can't find images on Imgur yet?  I will try and give it ago though. Thanks for your effort, working with Proboards is fantastic.

Glad you like. What you want to do is right click on the image and 'save as' and save it to your documents.
From there go to photobucket.com and upload the image from your computer. The site will give you a code similar to i1369.photobucket.com/banner.png - I think they've called it the 'direct link'

Then you need to go to your admin page on your site > themes > colours and theme creator.
Under the colour scheme there's a 'forum banner' section.

Banner height should be 150px
Banner image will be the 'photobucket.com/banner.png' link
Style options > Forum width should be 1300px

Hi Scorch, thanks heaps for your help. I have managed to get the Banner onto our Forum, but the only problem I can not delete the old Text wording in white letters (Kapiti Ulysses) so I have just shifted that to the left of the logo, which looks ok to me. Sort of balances the whole Banner up.

Not a problem, if you do want to delete the text go to

Admin> settings > forum settings > then delete where your forum title is (:
