i was trying to finish up this because i'll have to redo storage cause of it so no eta. hopefully done later today.

Hey any reason the pop up would show up every time I make a post? I am creating some archives and it gives me an event every time, and when I click close it just goes back to the "an event has occurred" box. I have 4 events, all set to 10%, and 1 event set to 50%. The events it shows me are usually the 10% ones.

If an event keeps happening over and over again immediately, it's usually related to an error that occured in the plugin. Which is usually due to an error in manage section that would have been done by yourself.

No that would require writing a new script to do it safely. I haven't added such functionality. I can add it as a request

I would really appreciate it if you can.  That is if you feel up to it of course.  I would prefer it if only admin can delete them.

The ability to add any event (even ones with probablility of 0) and delete events (even ones that haven't popped up yet) can now be accomplished through the new Events Menu in version 1-4
Defaults to all staff, but can be changed to a members list via the settings tab

That doesn't help me
The only thing I changed was adding some events to happen at 10% chance. Everything else is the same as it was when I installed the plugin.

I'm having a very similar problem. The popups aren't showing up every time I or another member posts, but they won't go away after I select to close it. To explain in a bit more detail; the popup will appear and I will click accept, and then close, only for it to go right back to the initial popup window. It will repeat this, even after I've refreshed the page.

Also, it will show a sort of events box bellow every other post, even in board where the events are not enabled. However, nothing is listed in the box, so I'm unaware of it's function or need. Below is a screenshot that one of my members shared with me.

Update

The issue is still occurring. I'm not so concerned with the empty events box under every other post, as that is something we can work around. It's only a visual, and a not a malfunction of sorts. The continual popups, however, makes it impossible to properly use this plugin at all.

I've turned off the plugin, turned it back on, and had no changes. I've switched the percentages for the chances of it popping up and not popping up around with many different variations, and had no changes aside from it maybe coming up more or less according to what the percentages were changed to. And now I've deleted it from the site entirely, selecting "Delete Plugin and Data", then reinstalled it and made my personalizations with still no changes. 

However, I saw that you had said, "If an event keeps happening over and over again immediately, it's usually related to an error that occured in the plugin. Which is usually due to an error in manage section that would have been done by yourself." to Keen - Summit of Legends , who was/is experiencing a similar issue.

So, understanding that I, too, could have done something wrong and caused this problem myself, deleted it and reinstalled it just as before. Although, this time, I made absolutely no changes aside from applying it to a single board that only Staff have access to. I then went to a thread in that board, made a post, and the popup appeared. Once again, I experienced the same issue of the popup repeating itself back to back.

At this point, my thinking is that the plugin, itself, is running into an issue on it's own accord. Maybe it is reacting negatively to the skin I'm using? Or perhaps it isn't compatible with another plugin I have? Although, I am still willing to accept that it could be something of my own doing. Yet, I will need to be told what that is and how I can fix and/or avoid that in the future.

Any and all suggestions are welcome. And thank you very much for your time.

I'm having a single event in my events on post plugin, With an attached inventory item. When I post the plug in functions with the alert. However after closing the alert it loops back on itself. Looking at the number of people with this issue it seems to either be a common user error or something else. I've closed out of the thread and when I went back on the thread it posts the alert when I click back into my thread, deleted and reinstalled both the Inventory and the Alerts plugin and nothing has changed.

however, my forum is new, and i don't want to pay money get for extra super keys for the eop.
i'm really hoping you could do something like that.
i know you already added monetary system compatibility, but that's only to gift money.

i'm currently creating an rpg section on my pokemon forum.
i was thinking i could add a pokemon to the shop and hide it. then i could create an event, "you caught [input name here]!" or something, and i could gift them the pokemon.

however, i am a bit worried if you would have to add a super key to store data and whatnot.

if this isn't a possibility, i'm sorry for being annoying.

I am sorry to inform you sir, but the problem is with your plugin. I tried turning everything off, with default theme, yet your plugin still loops.

I've looked into monetary shop compatibility a few times. Peter didn't release an api like he did on monetary, which means it would be harder for me to 'learn' how he does things just for him to end up changing it next year when v6 comes. If it was do-able, I would add it to his key and it wouldn't require adding any extra super keys or whatnot. But it's not something I'm going to do in the near future.
