I think it really depends on the demographics of your users. I for one don't have a ton of members who ever come to PB support, and I doubt any of them would wander into this board.

Last year, we used the censored word list to replace common words with ridiculous phrases. We did the same thing with replacing usernames with silly phrases as well.

I found a website that turns text upside down, so I just tried to use it in a post for April Fool's Day.

It failed though. The text in the Subject line is upside down, but the body of the post didn't flip over as I wanted it.

I pulled the same prank I mentioned in my previous post on Facebook a few years ago, according to the This Day in app Facebook offers.

I just copied and pasted the original post and added it again to see if I can get people fooled.

I say in the post that Facebook announced a strange bug that makes text you post upside down, and that it should be fixed on April Fool's Day.

I just changed member's display names via the censored words at my Transformers Message Board, and a few Transformer relayed words. Most got a kick out of it.

I used the turn forum upside down forum plugin and the anger management plugin.

I also made popups that appeared that said "user error, replace user"

My favourite trick is putting a fake "Delete This Forum" button that just leads to a page with a sad face on it. I like to see how many people actually click it, and how many people report it in a panic ;x

We're a roleplay forum, so while I won't be pranking the members, we will be having a "crackfic" day, where nothing that happens is real, and everything is ridiculous.
