Free chat box that allows registration?

Is there such thing as a free chat box service that allows members to create accounts with passwords? The popular one I see most forums use, www.cbox.ws, requires a paid membership to allow that.

People can create an account on your forum for free at any time.
cbox offers a free option as well that will function similar to your forums shoutbox.

www.cbox.ws does not allow members to register their usernames for free. You have to pay a membership fee for that. I was concerned about not being able to register usernames because otherwise anyone can pretend to be the admin or anyone else.

The reason I asked this question was to see if there another service similar to www.cbox.ws that did not charge for that service. If not, I suppose I will just have to use the shoutbox on proboars for now.

That's why the regular shoutbox is best because people can't fake their identity as its tied to the forum accounts.
