Why hello there! A pleasure to make your acquaintance. King Godred is the name by which I’m called. I’m a Tankie/Brocomotive/Frengine (Friengine?) - that is to say, the Thomas & Friends/Railway Series version of a Brony (most of us don’t really seem to want a fandom name tho. I invented the term “Friengine” but I much prefer “Brocomotive” myself). And no, King Godred is not the guy in the background. That’s Sailor John, a somewhat dark villain from the latest special (extra-length) episode Sodor’s Legend of the Lost Treasure.
Sorry if that’s a bit much to take in! Get to know me and you’ll soon find that I’m an analytical and technical type of guy, probably too much so! But I’ve soft cardiac tissue at the core and I’m proud of it. Friendly, noble, honest, faithful, steadfast, quirky, empathetic, philosophical, and observant, are the adjectives with which I’m described. Besides Thomas I’m fond of BIONICLE and classic Disney stuff as well. I have interests in the Christian faith (young Earth), media/entertainment, and Science & Technology, among other things.
You will likely find me in General Chatter on the whole. I hope it’s even okay for me to have an account here, as I have no intent of creating a forum myself. I only decided to join just for the sake of completeness really. I was first introduced to ProBoards via the Sodor Island Forums, on the which I’ve been a regular member for over seven years, and there we’re directed by the staff to always have construct in our discussions - to naturally post only when we have a good reason to, and when we have something meaningful to add to the topic. That’s a good principle to have, and I don’t think brainstorming for ideas just to make a forum would really be in-keeping with that goal. I have nothing that’s worth making a forum for.
Nonetheless I must say that it is tempting to make a forum, if only to have an arsenal of these swell plugins at my command (as mentioned above I am fascinated by technology and all...)! Visiting a forum with some of the more advanced ProBoards features would be cool, it’d be nice to at least see how they actually work and how they appear! At any rate - end introduction.
Or, as I’ve heard it said - that’s all there is, there isn’t any more.
