On my old laptop, I use to make my own banner on paint then upload it to my photo edit software ! There I would presume to add certain image's make them opaque, change colours, and add text to the banner. But unfortunately I no longer have this software, I got it from a website similar to Morpheus/limewire. So I am trying to find a website with similar tools, that is not complicated and easy to use !
any suggestions ?

pixlr is amazing for editing pictures and adding texts to them I must agree, it is limited if you dont upgrade. But its rather difficult when making a blank banner ! then when you add images to the blank canvas it does not seem to load unto the canvas but in a separate window.
as for gimp it requires you to download it and I'm scared, it wont give my laptop anything such as a virus, or any other issues will it ?

it's a very reputable software; it's been a few years since i've used it, but it's very similar to photoshop and has many of the same or similar capabilities.

brandons, I locked your other thread as it was a duplicate of this. Did you try Gimp? If you are having difficulties with Gimp just tell us what you are trying to do and we can help you. Gimp is really a very powerful program considering it is free.

brandons Are you using a Windows PC? I've discovered Paint.NET. I'm used to using PhotoShop and this one offers some good features for a free porogram
