place a background in the body of my post...I have the background plugin...but I would rather have a background on a perpost basis rather than every one of my posts. My Idea is to place the code in my default bbc codes on my profile settings. That way it will insert only in the individual posts I want. I still want to text over the background just like the plugin...is such a thing possible?

Hi there! Yes, this is possible with ubbc, similarly actually to HTML, like so: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut velit tellus, pellentesque in velit at, pulvinar auctor turpis. Morbi pellentesque lobortis magna at mattis. Suspendisse a nunc quam. In pulvinar cursus pulvinar. In vitae auctor urna. Nulla aliquet justo blandit nibh blandit, a malesuada quam malesuada. Curabitur ultricies dolor et aliquet tincidunt. What you need to do is create a div, and add a style that includes background-image:url('urltoyourimagehere');You can add additional styles to this as needed: [div style="background-image:url('link.png');"]your text here[/div]

Im not great at this... I inserted this in the post and it didnt work (actually the text came through but not the image)...what did I do wrong? (I dropped the brackets "[" before "div" and after to disable the code for this post. "...div style="background-image:http://www.drodd.com/images13/black-wallpaper11.jpg;"]testing one twoo ..."
[/div][/b]

You forgot the part I've marked here in red:
[ div style="background-image: url('www.drodd.com/images13/black-wallpaper11.jpg');"]testing one twoo[ div] I've changed the font colour so that it'll be white so you can see the text. testing one twoo
