Suddenly very hot here too after only few days ago I was wearing coat and wool hat. Now t-shirt and shorts.

Over here it's getting very dark, thunder and rain on it's way...that will cool off things at least...my headache is gone, thank goodness !

Sassy , I have friends in RL, and on our board, that enjoy the hotter the better, too.

But none of those include humidity with that heat. They draw the line there.

And I draw the line at 80^o myself!

I'd say you're being generous with the 80!  LOL  75 I say, 75!  LOL  With a slight breeze ... and sun!

Well, my Goldilocks "just right" weather for YEAR round is 60 to 75.

That's my perfect world ~ and I live nowhere like that.

It was supposed to be 73°F here today, but the thermometer says 89. That's wrong on so many levels. It's a crime against nature... if nature could commit a crime against itself.

I'm also one that draws a line at 80. Low to mid 70s is preferable.

Being a weather person, is THE only job you can have, where you're wrong every day,  you ticked everyone off .. and you get to keep your job!  LOL

Awww thanks for the hugs, Sassy Very much appreciated I converted the temps you mentioned to Celsius...I draw the line for me at 75 F as well, above that gets too warm for me. Best summer temp for me is between 60 and 70. But I prefer it even lower. I'm a total winter person and actually do best at temps around 14 F. Last summer we had temps a couple of days of 100 F in summer. Sure hope and pray that won't happen this year !

It's 9°C according to the met this morning (08.00) and cloudy and will peak to 6C at 13.00 this afternoon. I don't mind that as I have said before I do not like the heat, I will be going for my early morning walk after so I will enjoy a bit of a nip in the air.

I have just noticed the sun trying to peek out of the clouds from our flat window but the met seems to think we are going to have some heavy rain later on.

It's gone very dark outside and Liz has just said she heard thunder in the distance so that will hit us shortly with lighting and rain I would imagine.
