There has been a lot of rain around the last couple of days, this morning there is dark clouds and 12c.

It reaaallly looks like it wants to rain right now even though it's supposed to be a bit sunny with clouds with highs of 22c.

Too bloody right!  Went out for a walk last night at 6pm.  Thought it would be cooled down enough by then, but, nope!

i hate summer time and sofar it wasnt too bad.btw i read that its suppose to be warm and hot all over the weekend and early next week.hope they got that wrong

Cold and soggy, time to turn the gas fireplace back on, it's supposed to stay cool like this for at least a little while.

I don't mind the cool but, when it starts to get a bit too nippy when it's raining me thinks it's time to throw the heat back on.

its really only rained one day this week, even though it was forecasted for the whole week. Which is probably a good thing since there's a field quite a ways from us still flooded from the last rainfest.

This has been a crazy last 4 hours. It has been thundering and lightening non-stop but not not one drop of rain. Prior to the noisy storm that is doing nothing besides making a lot of racket, it was 75 degrees out, humidity 90%. I hate this time of year because Nebraska is always so darn humid.

Never mind, as soon as I typed that I went downstairs to make something to eat for supper and the torrential rains came down, I mean big time. I could have rowed a boat down my front sidewalk it was coming down so hard and because that sidewalk is slightly sloping and I'm on a hill, rain from everywhere makes it's way down to the sidewalk. So I guess the hours of making so much racket, it was getting on my nerves, was building up to something big. lol It was big but not long, the pouring rain only lasted a half hour. I have a french drain along part of the back of my house that goes to the front of my house and empties out on my front lawn and the french drain wasn't enough. It was overflowing and coming very close to my house and if it reaches my house and is enough, it'll come through a window and flood my basement. Luckily, it slowed down so that didn't happen. Whew, close call. All is fine now, the storm is long gone and it's quiet finally.
