lol Tumbleweed, too funny! Sounds like how the weather likes to be over here where I live in Canada BC but, right in this particular spot is really different compared to everywhere else, it doesn't like to do much of anything, weather wise any ways. It can rain here but, five blocks away it can be snowing too. lol ((O.o)) My parents used to bug me that they got snow while it was raining here all season long and they only lived five minutes away from me. lol Needless to say, when there's a storm in this area which is very short lived and rarely happens often, we all pretty much welcome it and enjoy here. lol Here's my weather for the day here: ----->

A horrible 24c here and a feel like a fried Kipper here in this flat even with the windows open.

We didn't even have a winter as far as I'm concerned and winter is my absolute most favorite season of the year. Where I live in the city, we miss all the tornadoes, for which I am grateful. I live overlooking the Missouri and for some reason tornadoes seem to turn or fizzle out when approaching the river. But my sis lives in Idaho in a valley and they have a temperate climate all year round but all around them, there is the 4 season, for sure. That sounds a lot like the area you live in, Linette. (Actually thinking of moving there (if not there then it will be Colorado) as I'd have mountains (I love the mountains) nearby for my snow and not too far to the coast for the beach.) By the way, I went to take garbage out today as the garbage men went yesterday so they were still sitting out and there was at about 4 inches of rain in them, just in that short half hour. Tomorrow's forecast says it will be hot (81 degrees) but the humidity is dropping a lot to 49% 59%. Thank goodness.

Tumbleweed , it's been so oppressive here because of the humidity.
We've been in an air-quality alert all week. And the dew point has been in the "oppressive" category.
Today it reached an ugly 72%.
Sunday it will be 77% = Miserable/Insufferable and will continue like that until Tuesday.
It's like walking out and someone throwing a blanket over your head!

♥ ℒʊ√ ♥The average humidity level for Omaha is 69 but summer is always much much higher. Using the Dew Point Calculator and the forecasted temperature and humidity for tomorrow (made a boo boo in my prev. post as humidity wil be 59%), the Dew Point will be in the "Comfortable" category according to your chart, so SO MUCH better than yesterday. Yesterday the Dew Point was 72 so "Oppressive". Our temperatures are going to be hitting the upper 80's and lower 90's in the next few days and humidity will be in the 60's so definitely oppressive just like you are having. And this is why I hate summer.

Tumbleweed , prior to the last few years, it was all about the humidity index. That's all the weather reports focused on in the hot weather.
Now, it's all about dewpoint and why it affects our temperature and air quality more than the relative humidity.
www.weatherworksinc.com/humidity-vs-dewpoint
All I know is it's sticky out there and it makes the temps feel hotter than they are. Sunday will have a temp of 93 with a "real fee" of 104. I prefer temps from the mid fifties to the mid seventies! And that's a very short season here. We go from one extreme to the other.

Heading in for some really gross weather, I'm not one for humidity either which is one of the reasons I have not been liking the summer season out here for the past few years or so, it's just really gross weather.

Very muggy here at 18c, I think there is some rain due and I honestly hope so to cool the weather down more.
