Different images for boards

I'm very new at this and I don't really know anything about computery stuff to begin with. But, well, my forum is a fan forum for 3 different shows, and I was wondering if there's a way to have different 'New posts and No New Posts' images within those 3 categories. And inside of them, they each have different locked, thread, announcement image. Is this possible?

p.s. there is a plugin where your banner changes when refreshing forum

Sorry, I just saw another thread here about changing image on each page. And I wasn't sure if it went in themes or plugins so I put it here.

Is the plugin going to work for you that Pebbles suggested? If not, you can just go to your headers/footers, select the category and add this in the header changing the url (in blue) of course:

And you helped me discover there are actually headers/footers for a category. I actually had no clue, thought there was only headers/footers for boards and your global and main. Not sure if this will be different with V6 so my suggestion may be short lived.

I can't try until tomorrow. But, I get the impression that it only allowes me to have an image that isn't the "No" and "No New Posts" image. Or am I getting it wrong? Because I three seperate New and No posts pics.

It says On/Off icon and I don't know what that is, unless it is refering to New/No New Posts.

But what I mostly want are different Locked, announcement, sticky and thread images for three seperate categories.
