Call me lazy but I would love for the [action buttons] to be out of the drop down menu. It would be great if the buttons to be on the same line as the [action] drop down menu
Thanks

Wow! that would be an awful lot of buttons, I have my doubts they would fit on a single line! Although you might not notice it, an even more troubling obstacle would be that the actions presented in the menu are calculated every time just prior to the menu opening, so if you have selected a thread that has already been bookmarked then you get the "remove bookmark" action instead of the "bookmark" action, you get the "unlock" instead of the "lock" and so on. This context sensitive shuffling would not be easily accomplished and could get downright confusing with the number and captions of buttons changing before one's eyes and perhaps even causing an annoying jumping of the page contents.

I just want some buttons out of the drop down so I don't go in the menu to do something very easy. I also think that leave some items in navigation tree is a good idea like share a thread and main menu items and sub menu is not needed to be displayed

not exactly since that plugin does not take the action menu out of the box. I want something like that for action buttons

Give this a shot but keep in mind what I said above about buttons having to shuffle themselves

As a guest I do not have access to either of those actions so cannot observe why it would or would not pull except to note that maximum buttons in the plugin settings has been changed to 2 rather than the default 7 so if you are pulling more than 2 then only the first 2 encountered would pull and the others would be ignored. Also if you have the thread bookmarked then you wouldn't get a bookmark button, you would instead get the "remove bookmark" button provided you also had that checked. This is what I am referring to when I mention context shuffling, clicking on an exported bookmark button means it would disappear, since the thread is now bookmarked and no longer needed, and be replaced by a "remove bookmark" button (provided you also had that checked). When viewing a list of threads (or users, etc.) the shuffling gets a bit more haphazard since it is dependent on which threads you have selected (checkbox to the left of each thread subject). If you select no threads then you get no buttons meant to affect threads, at least one thread would have to be selected first. The rule of thumb is if the action cannot be seen in the action menu then you won't be getting a button for it. When you open the action menu on a thread listing page with no threads selected you won't see any actions pertaining to threads until you've actually selected a thread. It would be pointless clicking a button saying "Bookmark" when it doesn't know what it is suppose to be bookmarking. The caption field is optional, as conveyed via the help icon ( ), since it looks like the exact same wording is being entered as is already on the menu. You only need to use that field if you wish to change the way the option has been worded on the menu. If you wanted it to say "Favorite" instead of "Bookmark" for example on the button when you pulled it then you would put "Favorite" in the caption field else leave it blank to have it say "Bookmark". If you add some buttons such as previous thread or one of the share options which can be viewed by guests then I can probably help further if the explanation above still makes no sense or is inapplicable. If I am misunderstanding what you have requested then please clarify.
