How to modify boards on a forum

1. I want to separate the Recent Threads board and the Important Threads board on my forum.
2. I would also like a 'box' around the Recent Threads board, like the other boards.
3. Can someone also tell me how to change the height between boards please?

Hi, gb9454 .

1. Find and remove the code quoted below in the Settings tab of Plugins > Manage > Recently Updated Threads Sidebar.

#recent-threads-title, #recent-threads-cell, #extra-title, #extra-cell
{
    position: relative;
    top: 15px;
}

2. In the same section as above find this code and remove only the bit in red.

#recent-threads-cell{
    height: 150px;
    border: 2px solid white;
}

3. Are you referring to the spacing between categories or are you referring to the height of the boards themselves?

With regards to your question, I'd like to change the spacing between categories.

In Themes > Layout Templates > Home find this line:

<div class="container boards">

Change it to this:

<div class="container boards categories">

Then add this to the bottom of Themes > Advanced Styles & CSS > Style Sheet and change the number in green to your preferred amount of pixels between each category.

.container.categories { margin-bottom: 10px; }
