I'm going to be up front and say that I have no clue how graphic design is accomplished exactly and my request could be ignorant. That being said, you never know until you ask so here goes. I am looking for some "out of the goodness of your heart" assistance in a logo for the softball team that I am in charge of. Our name is Sandlot Addictions and the team seems to be set on the idea of having a field lit up at night with the word Sandlot in big letters casting the shadow of a team of players standing on the field. Somehow also incorporating Addictions into it as well. Is this possible?

Im sorry, but this request board is specifically for requests for graphic images for ProBoards forum designs.

If you are looking for graphic designers for non-ProBoards work, you should try posting on places like deviantArt, or reaching out on social media like Facebook or tumblr where the art community is prevalent.

That said, as a designer myself I urge you to have even just a small budget to pay your designer. A unique logo to particular specifications can take hours upon hours of work, especially if they need to be designed for various forms of display such as jerseys, signs, and the ilk. Time spent on unpaid work is time taken away from paid work, after all, and we have bills to pay too. I can appreciate not having much of a budget, but design work is already severely undervalued as a service. Would you ask random passerby on the street to give you time and labor for free? You ask for a labor of love but you haven't established yourself in the community so it seems a bit shady.

Sorry for the essay, it's just a huge pet peeve of mine when people ask for free work on big, custom projects that will take hours of not days to complete. I know you said you're not too knowledgeable and I'm not angry or anything, I just want to make it clear why this type of request will likely not be received well.
