Forum Contests for Your Members - Any ideas?

I can't seem to come up with any ideas for forum contests that don't involve giving real money or shipping things out to members (which I cannot do right now). Can't come up with any posting incentives for members or anything that would get guests interested either.

My forum is a niche - it's a fan/music forum for legends like Michael Jackson, Prince, Whitney Houston, and Janet Jackson. So it's gotta be specific. Think you can help?

What contests have worked for you? Which ones didn't? Let's all brainstorm!

you can always give them forum money as reward
or something else fancy that you got featured on your forum (maybe something username related or profile)

as for contests itself.... random ideas following up;
- posting contest
- art/graphic contest
- video or singing contest
- poem contest
- fandom contest (showing by taking photos for example who the most fan is)
- treasure hunt type of contest

yes, probably  
instead you can make it an announcement that people who do that, get rewarded though

The contests/games I am gonna do:

kiss marry kill
competitions between songs
member of the month

Just a couple of things we did to involve our members...

1. We put I a plugin and renamed our news feed allowing members to suggest and vote on the new name.

2. When we opened related social media sites we had a contest for members to suggest the art for its header.

3. We have a ton of random member levels related to the topic of our forum with joke levels in between so people are always excited to see who/what they will be next.

4. We recently added custom profiles that are provided only to staff with post counts over 1000.

5. We offer custom titles to those that go above and beyond.

Oh, and I almost forgot because we haven't used them yet, but there is a plugin that allows you to set up tournament brackets. You could use it to set various artists up against one another for members to vote on their favorite classic artist.
